Creating goals is a deeply important task because it forces self reflection and honesty, it provides a sense of purpose (acting as a salve for depression or meaninglessness), and it allows you to see what you have through what you lack. Goal making should be specified to where you fall on the spectrum of ambition, and so I have also provided some tips for making goals as a perfectionist and then for making them as a procrastinator.
